MySpace CEO Owen Van Natta has confirmed that MySpace has acquired iLike, a two-year-old social-music application company that claims 50 million unique users.
The future of the relations with iLike and Facebook are still to be known since most of the users of iLike were gained from Facebook but now that they are acquired by their major rival, Facebook can block or restric tthe application at any time.
Owen Van Natta is confident that the new aquisition will continue to make Myspace a center of entertainment. He also said that Myspace want iLike not only play music but also films and games.
This acquisition might help Myspace become again the number 1 social site after it was superseded by facebook earlier this year.
